Designing Functional Bottle Cap

Summary:

We aim to patent a new bottle cap made from strong biodegradable or compostable material, featuring a unique built-in function.

Inside the top capsule of the cap, there will be a small cavity designed to hold exactly three peppercorns.

The core design challenge lies in creating a mechanism that allows users to access and remove the peppercorns, while simultaneously ensuring that:

• Customers in stores cannot easily open or tamper with the compartment.
• The cap remains durable and undamaged during transportation.

Design Requirements:

• Security: Tamper-resistant for retail environments.
• Accessibility: Easy and intuitive for end users to open.
• Aesthetics: Neat, sleek, cool, and simple in appearance.
• Compatibility: Must fit standard water and soft drink bottle neck sizes.

Mechanism Consideration:

The opening mechanism can be of any type, as long as it does not require altering the typical dimensions of existing bottle necks. Creative solutions are welcomed.
